Wenham Holt has been providing a Continuing Care Unit for NHS patients since April 1st 2004. The Unit can accommodate up to 16 patients in a single unit within a nursing home complex who are assessed as requiring NHS Continuing Care and assessment.
Wenham Holt provides essential nursing care for patients supported by a specialist team from Hampshire Primary Care Trust . The specialist team offer clinical supervision for the nursing staff and assess and advise on appropriate equipment for patients.
The nurses and health care staff who work in the unit are employed by Wenham Holt Nursing Home Ltd and are accountable to the person in charge of the Nursing Home.
