Annual Development Plan 2009/10
Following the return of service evaluation forms and in consultation with relatives, visiting professionals and all levels of staff, the following development plan has been compiled.
We will endeavour to meet the following targets during the next year (November 2009 to November 2010).
1) To maintain the current high standards of care provided and to continuously improve on these standards to ensure the best possible service is given to our residents.
2) To ensure our workforce is enthusiastic and well motivated by encouraging participation in training and the use of reflective practise methods.
3) To ensure our residents can continue to enjoy the best quality service by listening to all concerned in their care package and acting upon appropriate advice.
4) To personalise Resident’s care plans in line with the person centred philosophy of care
5) To maintain high standards of décor and maintenance to the structure and fabric of the home.
6) To continue to maintain the gardens and external environment to a high standard and to make further improvements to the car park.
7) To investigate the feasibility of building a sun lounge or conservatory to the lounge in the Continuing Care Unit thereby increasing amenity space for residents.
8) To consider reducing the number of shared rooms offered by converting one or two to en-suite singes.
